Outremer is Old French for "overseas", the name the crusaders gave to the Crusader States of Jerusalem, Antioch, Tripoli and Edessa, founded in 1099.
For two hundred years those states left behind a visual language of shields, seals, banners and crosses: the arms of kings, the marks of the military orders, the maps of campaigns that changed the medieval world.
Outremer makes clothing and goods from that language. Every design is researched from real heraldry and real history.
