Fleur de Lis Beanie | Black

$64.00

The fleur de lis was the emblem of the kings of France, and no French king carried it further than Louis IX. He led the Seventh Crusade in 1248 and the Eighth in 1270, dying before Tunis on that final campaign, and was made a saint in 1297. To this day he is remembered as Saint Louis, the crusader king.

On the cuff, a fleur de lis in silver bound by a red band, embroidered on black.

Made to be worn every day. A mark of faith, duty and the crusader king.
