Jerusalem Castle Patch | Black
Inspired by the walls of Jerusalem, the goal of every crusader who took the cross. In the summer of 1099, after a march of three years and a siege of more than a month, the First Crusade breached those walls and took the Holy City. This patch honours the city they crossed the world to reach.
At its centre are the towers and gate of Jerusalem, worked in gold and bronze on a black field, with JERUSALEM set below in bronze lettering. Four red crosses, the mark worn by those who took the vow, stand beside the towers and the lettering, and a bronze border frames it all.
Made to be worn, not kept in a drawer. Put it on your jacket, pack, cap or kit bag as a mark of pilgrimage, endurance and the city at the heart of the Crusades.
