Crusader Ship Beanie | Black

Most crusaders who reached the Holy Land after the First Crusade came by sea. Fleets from Venice, Genoa, Pisa and the ports of the north carried knights, pilgrims and supplies to Acre and Tyre, and kept the crusader states alive for nearly two centuries. Without the ships, there would have been no Outremer.

On the cuff, a crusader ship in silver with castles fore and aft, a square sail bearing a red cross, a red pennant at the masthead and a red band along the hull, embroidered on black.
