Jerusalem 1099 First Crusade Poster

On the 15th July 1099, after a long and brutal siege, the armies of the First Crusade broke through the walls and took Jerusalem. Nearly three years after leaving Europe, the crusaders had reached their goal, and the Kingdom of Jerusalem was born.

The walls and towers of the Holy City stand in black silhouette against a blood-red and burning orange sky, with a low sun, drifting embers and JERUSALEM in glowing gold lettering above. Dark, dramatic and a fitting tribute to one of history's defining moments.
