Crown of Jerusalem Beanie | Black
$64.00
When the crusaders took Jerusalem in 1099, Godfrey of Bouillon refused to wear a crown of gold in the city where Christ had worn a crown of thorns. His brother Baldwin had no such doubts and was crowned the first King of Jerusalem in Bethlehem on Christmas Day 1100. The crown passed through his successors as the kingdom held the Holy City for nearly ninety years.
On the cuff, a crown in silver topped with a red cross, embroidered on black.
Made to be worn every day. A mark of faith, kingship and the crown of the Holy City.
