Trebuchet Beanie | Black
$64.00
The trebuchet was the great siege engine of the crusading age. Its heavy counterweight swung a long arm that hurled stones against castle walls, and at the Siege of Acre in 1191 the crusaders' engines battered the city until it surrendered. One belonging to King Philip II of France earned the name Malvoisine, the Bad Neighbour.
On the cuff, a trebuchet in silver with its A-frame, throwing arm and sling, a red counterweight and a red stone ready to fly, embroidered on black.
Made to be worn every day. A mark of the siege and the patience to break any wall.
