Knights Hospitaller Cross Poster
The Order of St John began as a hospital caring for pilgrims in Jerusalem, and in 1113 Pope Paschal II recognised it as an independent religious order. Over the 12th century the Hospitallers took up arms alongside the Templars, defending Outremer from great fortresses like Krak des Chevaliers. After the fall of Acre they fought on from Rhodes and later Malta, and the Order survives to this day.
The white eight-pointed cross of the Hospitallers, edged in gold, blazes across a deep red field, with KNIGHTS HOSPITALLER in bold white lettering above. Clean, bold and full of history.
Printed on premium 200gsm matte paper with a glare-free finish and rich, deep colour.
